TO LANGKAWI

By Flight to Langkawi International Airport (LGK)

Reaching Kedah is a breeze with the well-integrated airport network. Langkawi International Airport (LGK) is an airport in Padang Matsirat, Langkawi, Kedah, Malaysia.

From Kuala Lumpur (KLIA / Subang):
Airlines: Malaysia Airlines, AirAsia, Batik Air
Flight Time: ~1 hour 10 minutes
From Penang, Johor Bahru, or Singapore:
Several direct flights operate from regional hubs.

By Road + Ferry to Langkawi

If you prefer land travel, you can drive or take a bus/train to Kuala Kedah or Kuala Perlis and then take a ferry to Langkawi.

1. To Kuala Kedah (Nearest to Alor Setar, Kedah's Capital)

Drive: Via North-South Expressway (PLUS Highway), exit at Alor Setar Selatan
Bus: Daily intercity buses from KL, Penang, and other major towns
Train: ETS to Alor Setar Railway Station, then taxi to Kuala Kedah Jetty (~20 minutes)
Duration to Langkawi: 1 hour 45 minutes
